So, this is my first ever blogfest. I'm kind of excited! The whole point behind the What's the Score blogfest is to create playlists/soundtracks (or share ones you've already made) for your WIP. This was SUPER easy for me because that's what I do anyway to help myself get in the right mindset for a particular scene/chapter. So, without further ado, I present my soundtrack for Dathan the Sorcerer (my current WIP):
From Richard Einhorn's Voices of Light:
- Interrogation
- Pater Noster
- Torture
- Sacrament
- Into the Darkness (FF5)
- Omen (FF6)
- Kefka
- Cyan's Theme
- The Inforgiven (sic)
- The Esper World
- Terra's Theme
- Relm's Theme
- The Fanatics
- The Mystic Forest
- Fallen Embers
- Tempus Vernum
- The Impossible Dream (the Quest)
- Ancient Pines
- The Mummers' Dance
- The Battle
- Now We Are Free
From the Chrono Trigger soundtrack:
- Frog's Theme
I tried to comment earlier, but blogger appears to be broken again...
ReplyDeleteGreat "score". I love Loreena McKennitt. Mummer's Dance is on my list as well.!
This is my second blogfest, and they are a blast.
I LOVE Enya. Love. Most of my soundtracks include angry girl music! LOL At least my WIP does. Paramore and Evanescence. :)
ReplyDeleteYour WIP sounds awesome by the way! :)
Great list, Reece. I love that you have Enya and Lorena McKennitt. I haven't heard the Final Fantasy soundtracks, but now I might have to go and check them out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along :)
What a fun blogfest! And I LOVE Lorena McKennitt. I've recently discovered the value of soundtracks for my books-- they really help get me in the right mode when I need to write.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like I will have to look these up! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat blogfest post.
Love the list!
ReplyDeleteJust stop by to say hi. I'm doing the JuNoWriMo challenge this month as well!
Stopping by touring the JuNoWriMo folks and was delighted to discover some new music. I haven't used soundtracks before, but this is a perfect opportunity to listen to a few. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea for a blogfest! I haven't heard of a lot of these but I do know I like Enya and I bet I'd like a lot of the other ones.
